Biķernieki forest. Riga, Latvia. 2018. The forest holds 55 mass graves containing more than 35,000 murdered Latvian and Western European Jews, Soviet prisoners and political opponents. Among the dead are prisoners from the Riga ghetto and disabled prisoners from Kaiserwald concentration camp.
